Catch up on the escapades of the Sunshine Coast's most notorious soft toy. Don't let the soft, hand-knitted exterior fool you. This monkey is full of vengeance, hatred and could strangle you with his tail. He also likes Pina Coladas and walks in the rain.

Can anyone please tell me how on earth my rank can improve by two places over a day or so while my points stay the same?

I have navigated about the site a bit, but I haven't commented on anything. I'm at a loss to describe it.

I put this in a comment to someone else's blog just before...

"I'm pretty guilty about second guessing what I should post about and how I should word what I say. Sometimes it's because I don't really want to offend people and other times I think some things I think about are totally uninteresting to others. This is weird to admit because I do blog for myself to analyse my thoughts but I do spend a lot of time thinking about people other than myself. I'm just like that. I also don't want to be...

I had a great day today. I was trying to sleep for most of the daylighthours but constant encouraging SMS messages and electricians installing airconditioners kept waking me up. No matter. It was a great surprise thisafternoon to find that my brother had invited a few friends over for a BBQtonight. Not everyone that I wished could attend was able to.. some didn't evenknow about it until I found out myself and rang them. Still... the ones thatcould come made me feel spesh and gave me some hilari...

New Page 1Yes indeed. It's true. I have just hit the quarter century mark. My life as ayoung adult, seemingly over. I'm in my mid-twenties. Almost 30. And *sobs*halfway to 50.

"That's not old!" you say.. "He's only a spring chicken, stillsitting on a veritable treasure trove of life!" True.. but I thought I'dhave achieved so much more with my life thus far. Maybe even have fulfilled atleast ONE of my major life goals by now... but I just can't think of any evenhalf-decent ...

What's been happening to me lately? Plenty, that's what. Here is a glimpse ofone of the more enjoyable things I have been privileged to experience.

I went to this excellent Italian restaurant last Thursday night for a friend'sbirthday dinner. Aside from waiting an hour for entrées arrive and another 45minutes for mains (which kind of goes without saying in 4+ Star restaurants)everything was pretty damn cool at LaOpera, Maroochydore. In true Italian style, everything looked immaculate andimpor...

You're a master artist, and you know it. No one can
defeat your skills of an artist, and even if
they can, you can just pretend they can't by
burning their paper. You're popular, cool and
talented, and a big fan of dragons. Justremember:  THE DRAGON COMES IN THE NIIIIIIIIIGHT!

Well.... what a weekend! After battling with bleak and nebulous weather whiletrying to paint my car (still working on it... after about 1,000,000 years, itseems) and this niggling feeling that I'm turning into an insomniac, it turnedout to be ok in the end anyway.

Friday night saw me whizzing off to Indooroopilly for an interesting andfun-filled night of socialising, Simpson's trivia, good coffee andpool-sharking. I found that my ability to play pool is inversely proportionateto my need for s...

It happens almost every day. I wake up when I need to or even before I want to and I’m tired. On the way to work I’m yawning. At lunch I want to sleep. I begin to nod off on the way home. About the only time I don’t feel tired is when I’m excited about doing something and I’m distracted by the activity, or the coming inevitability of it, or I am overly tired and I just don’t feel like sleeping any more.

I eat well, I get 7 or 8 hours sleep a night, I exercise regularly and I just can’t figur...

I was coming home from Touch Footy Monday night in my brother’s car and he had on one of the many annoying radio stations we have here on the Sunshine Coast. They had just finished with some crappy manufactured pop song and then continued with a conversation that probably started before the song break. They were going on about having a Pass Card for the one celebrity that you were infatuated with. One guy had chosen Katie Holmes of Dawson’s Creek fame… another wanted some chick from Getaway. Hav...

I was just offered a job in I.T. and I accepted.

I've been thinking about it for a while and it's like the perfect work scenario for me in many ways. Now I just have to figure out the logistics of getting myself down there a.s.a.p.! At the risk of sounding like a happy-clapper... Praise the Lord! Actually... I don't care. I never usually have this much luck... ever. The help i'm getting must be devine.

The amount of good stuff that has happened to me in the last week is unbelievable... an...

I was just mowing the lawn today and ponderingly pondering a few things... One was "Why am I such a perfectionist at times?"

For example... I have been in the process of restoring my car for near on 12 months now. It still isn't finished to my liking and there is still a little way to go. Also... the lawn looks like it has been prepped for a reality television show. It looks a pretty picture. I snipped, pruned, mowed, weeded and groomed for over half the day today. We don't have a huge yard...

Part I

Another fantastic weekend in Brisbane has just passed by. Another swag of photos dumped on my hard drive. Another disappointing browse as I find that half the pics haven't turned out because the camera doesn't like taking night pictures even though it has a flash. This is soooooooooo frustrating. I can see thatI'm going to have to buy a much better camera. While this one is good for day pics, poor quality video with sound, as aweb cam and even a motion sensor, as soon as you try and ...
